Performance

The Ram 2500's base engine is a 6.4-liter V8 engine, which produces 410 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque. It connects to an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels. The 6.7-liter turbodiesel inline-six engine is optional. It produces 370 horsepower and 850 pound-feet of torque, which makes it ideal for towing heavy loads around Saugerties. The diesel powertrain connects to a six-speed automatic transmission system.
