People who consider themselves car people may be interested in coming to see the Sawyer Motors Car Show.  For over a decade, our dealership has been putting on a car show to close out the 4th of July weekend.  Folks can make the drive from nearby Hudson, NY and enjoy all of the classic, antique, and hot rod cars that come to this event.  There are prizes for the most intriguing vehicles, and people can see all of the interesting cars that come from all over the northeast.

The event takes over Main Street and Partition Street, so there are a lot of cars being shown.  Additionally, several restaurants give out discounted food and beverages.  When you come to the Sawyer Motors Car Show, you can enjoy the live music and fireworks that punctuate the event.  It is one of the must-see events of the summer.

Experience the Jeep Summit Event at Hunter Mountain

If you are the proud owner of a Jeep SUV or truck, you are probably the type of person who enjoys exploring the world around you.  We know that most folks who buy or lease a new Jeep vehicle are likely to be the types who enjoy off-roading and finding adventure when they are away from their day-to-day lives.  At Sawyer Motors, we have always thought it would be a good idea to give Jeep drivers the chance to do something they love.  That is why we host the Jeep Summit Event at Hunter Mountain.

This event is hosted in the fall, and all kinds of Jeep enthusiasts gather for it.  Members of the Jeep Club, who are seasoned at off-roading adventure, and new explorers both enter the Jeep Summit Event at Hunter Mountain.  It all starts with a line-up at Sawyer Motors.  From there, the participants go caravan style through Platt Cove to get to Hunter Mountain.  When they get to the mountain, the drivers are challenged with conquering an obstacle course made up of boulders and logs.  During this event, folks can see why the Jeep Wrangler is such a capable off-roading vehicle.

After the obstacle course, all of the Jeep vehicles go up trails and service roads to get to the chef-prepared cookout at the summit of the mountain.  In the end, all of the drivers have a new appreciation for the performance and capability of their Jeep vehicle.

Take Part in Sawyer Motors' Holiday in the Village Event

You must have gathered by this point that the team at Sawyer Motors is a festive bunch.  That means that we can't let the holidays go by without celebrating them with the surrounding community.  After all, the holiday season is one for giving back, and we enjoy giving happiness to the customers who have given us so much over the years.  We like to do our part to provide a festive spirit to everyone who chooses to come to our Holiday in the Village Event.

Our Holiday in the Village Event is one that goes on for the whole day.  The entire day is jam-packed with fun and activities for the whole family that are sure to make you excited for the holidays.  You can enjoy the relaxation and fun that comes with a horse-drawn wagon ride.  Do you have member of your family that enjoy arts and crafts?  Many of the local businesses open up their doors to give opportunities for these young artists to practice their passion.  People can enjoy one of the local dance performances or the firemen's parade of lights.

We also have a staged reading of "T'Was the Night Before Christmas."  Little children may enjoy meeting some of their favorite Disney characters who will be hanging out during this event.  There will also be the tradition of the annual tree lighting and, of course, the headliner himself.  That's right.  Children will get to visit with Santa Claus himself.  Over time, this event has become a great way for friends and family to spend some enjoyable moments together.  It is a holiday celebration that we appreciate spending with folks from the surrounding community.
