For a
Personalized Driving Experience, Choose the 2019 Jeep Cherokee
Trims
- Having a wide selection increases a car buyer's chance of finding their
perfect model, which is why many are drawn to the 2019 Jeep Cherokee over the
2019 Subaru Forester. While the latter comes in five excellent trims, the Jeep
SUV presents two more variants. As a result, its price-points and features are
more diverse and will accommodate a broader audience in turn.
Packages
- In addition to having a more comprehensive lineup of trim levels, the 2019
Jeep Cherokee can be upgraded with one of five packages as well. Groups include
Technology, SafetyTecâ„¢, Comfort and Convenience, Heavy-Duty Protection, and
Trailer Tow. Each one encompasses desirable add-ons like the ParkSense® Rear
Park Assist System. Juxtaposed against the 2019 Subaru Forester which is
restricted to just an Alloy Wheel or All-Weather packages, it is easy to see
which model offers greater value.
Engines
- Though all new 2019 Subaru Forester models are equipped with a 2.5-liter
SUBARU BOXER® engine that exerts a substantial output of 182 horsepower and 176
pound-feet of torque, its ratings are on par with only the 2.4-liter
Tigershark® which is the most basic engine offered by Jeep. The 2019 Jeep
Cherokee is also available with a 3.2-liter Pentastar® V6 and 2.0-liter Turbo
Engine which can hit marks of 271 and 270 horsepower and 239 and 295 pound-feet
of torque, respectively.
All-Wheel
Drive - What gives an off-road SUV its ability to navigate terrain
beyond the paved road is oftentimes its drivetrain. That is why the 2019 Subaru
Forester is geared with a Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive System as a
standard. However, as opposed to having one choice, the 2019 Jeep Cherokee is
presented with three: Active Drive I, Active Drive II, Active Drive Lock. Each
delivers varying degrees of traction so that you can select the model that
performs according to your driving preferences.
